Whether this is your first time or tenth time trying to quit smoking, you should never stop trying. The health benefits are endless and it is never too late to stop. Shortness of breath, yellow teeth, bad breath, wrinkles, lung disease, cancer, and heart disease are just a few of the side effects of tobacco use. Just think of the money that you will save. Tobacco cessation programs are available throughout the year that are designed to help participants stop smoking for good.
These classes are available thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Tobacco Awareness Action Team, The Wellness Program, Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation, the Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Agency (ITPC), and the American Lung Association. The Bartholomew County Health Department funds the patches.
Due to the flood causing complications with location, staffing, etc., the remaining 2008 smoking cessation class fee is waived.
8 weeks of education, 8 weeks of nicotine patches - all free!
